Introduction: Kohinoor Chemical Company (Bangladesh) Limited (KCCL) is the oldest and largest national Soap, Cosmetics and Toiletries manufacturer and marketer of Bangladesh. KCCL started its business in 1956. After the independence of Bangladesh, KCCL became a fully government owned company under the direct control of Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) up to May 05, 1988. It was transformed into a Public Limited Company under Companies Act 1913 and was named as Kohinoor Chemical Company (Bangladesh) Limited from May 05, 1988.
Redesign: I noticed that the KOHINOOR CHEMICAL brand's logo isn't very impactful. So, I decided to create a new logo for them that builds upon their existing one. While their previous logo featured a flower with a chemical icon, I wanted to maintain that element for brand recognition. However, I aimed to make the new logo more impactful from the brand's perspective. My design incorporates a security icon with a chemical drop. Additionally, the flower is depicted modernly, whereas the previous icon does not so much gorgeously show the flower.
